First of all, this is my first whisky review ever. So take it easy on me. Anyway, High west has very good whiskeys out there in my opinion. The taste of this double rye is initially Very floral and smooth. It then breaks into what I can only describe as banana. And not like a perfectly ripe banana, this has a taste of old brown almost fermented banana. There is a slight sweetness but really overall, those my two big flavors. Smells sweet and has a slighttt rubbing alcohol vibe. Brown sugar comes through on the nose as well.
