Classic bourbon barrel undertones of a basic vanilla-heavy sweet oak. But as is typical glenmorangie, the finishing is in the foreground. The port sings here with a raisin-dominated sweetness that has impressive oakiness but throughout all layers is a wheat bread note from the malt. All flavors come through, all are layered, all are strong.
