This note is for the very last dram of the bottle, and it seems to have lost some of it's initial bite over the 2 years since opening. (I know, shame on me, I have been in other bottles)
Nose is still good and smokey, but it doesn't overpower the room anymore. now it's just deep and delicate, still complex with peat and wood notes, bit of vanilla and iodine.
Taste is now quite smooth, almost refreshing, and while i might miss the initial jolt of tar on the tongue, it's still damn good. it's peaty and salty how i like it and more toffee than i remember.
Mouthfeel is somewhat oily, but not quite, aftertaste seems a little off. Good warm stomach feeling.
