On nose peaty (of course), vanilla, charcoal and some fruit peel. There is also a strange smell of steel and tap water though.
On palate it starts with some vanilla sweetness, then dominated by the peat flavours. From swallow to finish it is quite bland, with grass and again the steely and tap water notes coming out from the throat. Very light weight and body. I would have preferred Ardbeg 10 for a young and grassy Ardbeg, and a Uigeadail for a flavourful and sweet peat one.
