"Why is my rating so high? Because dollar for dollar this is the best value whisky on the market IMO. (Not the best, but the best value!) It’s not complex, but the three flavours it has are very pronounced: caramel, vanilla, and oak pepper. It’s obvious this distillery uses high quality barrels with lots of char. Lots of quality oak bite, and a dry finish. And it’s one of the few bourbons that doesn’t deteriorate with ice, so it’s an excellent summertime whisky! "
