You like cherry flavor in your bourbon? This is the one you're looking for. A prominent cherry flavored bourbon, but it does it tastefully and not overly aggressive as some other whiskey companies seem to be doing. I'm more of a woody, oak, and vanilla guy when it comes to my bourbon, but this whiskey I can appreciate. I have to say this Makers Mark 46 bottle is one of the best looking whiskey bottles I've ever owned, with Hibiki Harmony being my favorite one. I'm really curios how this bourbon would hold up if it was one of the ingredients in making a Manhattan. Anyways I like it, don't love it, I wouldn't buy another bottle for myself, but I would buy it as a gift for someone who has never tried it and I know they like cherry flavored whiskeys.
