It’s a solid bourbon but you get much more oak and less of the vanilla or caramel on the palate than that of the 12 year KC. In my opinion, the 12 year is a better buy unless a lot of oak is what you prefer. It’s enjoyable but the $100 price tag, I wouldn’t purchase it again.

@ContemplativeFox when blinding the two head to head, I picked the 12 year!
Based one what you describe, I expect I'd like the 12 better. Do you have a preference between the two?
