Let’s just say I am glad a buddy gave me a sample of this because I would be pretty disappointed spending $300 on this sub par bourbon. It taste like most of GB’s offerings but with even more oak and with a very drying finish that I find present with a lot of Texas Bourbon’s. Unfortunately, this is just another overpriced release from GB…….300.0 USD per Bottle

Elijah Craig Barrel Proof Bourbon Batch C920
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed March 14, 2021 (edited July 11, 2022)How C920 is scored less than B520 on this app, I have no idea. Both of these bourbons are so similar and so enjoyable, it’s hard to pick a winner. The C920 is not quite a sweet and drinks a touch hotter but damn good non the less. Both are up there with best bourbon of 2020!60.0 USD per Bottle -
Woodford Reserve Master's Collection Very Fine Rare Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed January 12, 2021The nose let’s you know she’s older but what I like is that you don’t get overwhelmed with oak on the pallet given it’s age. I think some of the flavors have been lost given she’s been proofed down but overall, it’s an enjoyable and solid pour. I wish the finish was a touch longer and the proof was a bit higher, but I am a fan!127.0 USD per Bottle -
1792 Bottled in Bond Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed August 2, 2020 (edited August 14, 2020)Had a interesting funk up front that I didn’t care for but otherwise, it wasn’t bad. I prefer the single barrel or full proof.34.95 USD per Bottle -
Knob Creek 15 Year Bourbon (2020 Release)
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed July 18, 2020 (edited August 28, 2020)It’s a solid bourbon but you get much more oak and less of the vanilla or caramel on the palate than that of the 12 year KC. In my opinion, the 12 year is a better buy unless a lot of oak is what you prefer. It’s enjoyable but the $100 price tag, I wouldn’t purchase it again.100.0 USD per Bottle -
Wild Turkey Master's Keep Bottled in Bond 17 Year
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed July 18, 2020 (edited July 22, 2020)The nose on this is fantastic! The initial hit to the palate has a slight smokey note, that almost reminds me of a peaty scotch. I am guessing this is the Wild Turkey funk most speak of and it was almost a turn off for me. Fortunately, for me at least, that fades quickly and you are left with notes of cherry, vanilla, caramel and a hint of oak. These notes linger for some time which makes for an enjoyable experience.179.0 USD per Bottle -
