Very nice, and good value scotch considering the age. Fairly (but not very) smooth, with a lot going on in the full-bodied taste. Some marmalade and honey on the nose. The taste has a lot of flavors – some Christmas spices, a fair amount of wood, a bit of sweetness, some tobacco, mint, dark chocolate, and a bit of smoke. The woodiness does leave the finish a bit dry.
