Willett Family Estate Small Batch Rye 4 Year
Rye — Kentucky, USA

Fantastic! Chocolate bread, vanilla, rye, baking spices and a hint of cinnamon. Best thing is none of the eucalyptus or mint notes, which I generally get with rye whiskies and don’t enjoy. Looong spicy finish.

@WhiskeyLonghorn I've a bottle of the ER 10 I haven't touched for months, let me know if you'd like samples.
@WhiskeyLonghorn I’m in Southern California. There’s Eagle Rare 10 yr for $30 everywhere. You can find the Willett 4yr for a decent price if you search around. I do not believe I have ever seen Stagg Jr for less than 3x msrp, and its hard to find at that price.
@PBMichiganWolverine that’s the one. Can’t find it anywhere!
@WhiskeyLonghorn eagle rare, as in the 10yr old version? We have shelf loads here in NJ
@jdriip interesting. Are you out in the Midwest then? It’s interesting how popular bottles don’t make it to certain markets. We get a LOT here in Texas, but there are certain things I’ve never seen like this, Stagg Jr., or Eagle Rare.
@WhiskeyLonghorn I found it at BevMo
@WhiskeyLonghorn we’re quite fortunate in California, where it’s readily available, even at our grocery stores.
This is a highly allocated bottle. Where were you able to find it?
