The Blanton's Single Barrel has a citrus forward taste aspect to it. You will get orange citrusy notes with some caramel & vanilla. Some people detect a slight floral note to this whisky. I do not get any floral notes on my palate when drinking this whisky. But taste can be subjective depending on the person and their particular palate. Blanton's Single Barrel is good. But for the same amount of money I can find a lot better whisky's out there. I wouldn't turn my nose up at it if someone were to offer me a dram. I just don't see where it deserves the prices that you would pay for a bottle of Blanton's Single Barrel compared to other whisky in the same price range. Even in the thirty dollar price range there are better whisky's to be had.
