Smell is buttery barley. Taste is butter, oak, spice, that then transforms completely and drastically into peppery ripe banana. Never seen a whisky transform in my mouth like that. Finish is long and tingly, with some more fruit and pepper. Scratch that, the pepper is still there. It never goes away. How interesting.
