Golden amber, nice sticky legs.
Nose is tart fruit, spices and rye grains but the barrel comes through all throughout.
Toasted rye bread in here as well as oregano...
Soft mouthfeel. Hot on the palate.
Front shows the spices: clove and cinnamon, finish is dry, roasted grains, oak and barrel char. Notes of cacao, eucalyptus and more spice.
Lots going on here. Solid value.
More heavily influenced by the barrel than the bright, tart fruity ones out there these days.
