Peat and fresh cut straw on the nose. Taste is
Vanilla and grasses with peat and light smoke in the finish. Some bitter fruit midway too. Bandaid on the finish at times and almost white chocolate after the glass sat a few minutes. Not as complex as Laphroaig 10 but the peat is subtle and lends itself to the overall finish nicely. Easy way into the heavy peats and I don't think this will be my last bottle of this one.

there is a delicious creamy sweet ('white chocolate' you put it) that comes out a pinch after its had just a little air. try benriach curiositas next if you enjoyed this thoroughly.
