Nose- salty and sweet with slight fruit notes. Taste- oak and vanilla to start. Then a medium smoke that is not too forward. A finish of fruit and oak. After- lingering notes of oak and vanilla. Overall a mellow and sweet scotch. A great middle of the road scotch that has enough peat smoke to be present but not enough to overwhelm.
