Heavy oak and pepper on the nose. Initial taste is abundantly sweet and spicy, almost cinnamon-like. Rich in flavor where the sherry cask shines through, and fruity with a good oak balance. Overall a nice seasonal whiskey, however, pushing the boundaries of too sweet. (AT)
