Nose - peat smoke, orange zest, pear, hay, oat and honey, apple, brine, banana, vanilla, moderate to high ethanol burn.
Taste - sweet smoke, pear, honey, vanilla sweet cream, banana, tart apple, brine, cereal, cayenne pepper, ham, ash, moderate to high alcohol bite, finishing quick and clean with smoke, citrus, and brine flavors.
I like that it’s not completely dominated by smoke and allows the fruity and savory notes to shine. Similar to the Classic Laddie, however I think it’s a bit too hot on the nose and palate, in a way that detracts from the experience. Overall, this is a nice sipper, but not extraordinary.

This is going to be really great to try when the juice ages some more and the older age statements become available.
