Vanilla, oak and raisiny sweet vermouth on the nose, with lots of cinnamon and nutmeg spice. On the palate, the vanilla and spice hit first, fading into a long finish where the sherried stone fruit notes come to the fire, along with some raisin. Very smooth due to the age but also likely the lower proof (80). Very nice stuff for the price, especially when compared to Scotch!
