I had the pleasure to try this dram and although it had very classic scotch characteristics, for the price and considering it was a Macallan, it was ok. The nose was a little fruity and spicy, and the palate was warm and lasting. Maybe a little honey and dark fruits. For $70 on a 12 year old, there are more flavorful whisky sour there for a better price.
