Not great but not horrible given its price point(bottom shelf). I generally use it as a mixer but can stand on its own. It will give you all the classic bourbon flavors but not one will be outstanding. This would be a good party/gameday bourbon without breaking the budget. As one review I read before buying for the first time...."hits well above it's weight"
