Nose: Phenomenal! Mix of raisins and dried plums. Could easily spend half an hour just nosing this whisky. Palate: Sweet and fruity with just a hint of tartness. Lively and delightful. Finish: Relatively short. Dry like red wine. This was my first single malt, and from the first whiff, its wonderful scent seemed to dispell the stresses of the day away. The taste may not be as complex as others, but its delicious fragrance has secured its place in my fond memories.
