Nose: Earthy peat and smoke, dry wood, astringent and medicinal iodine
Palate: Thin mouth feel. Campfire, vanilla, salt/brine, oak, spices like black pepper and a touch of cardamom, touch of malt, a touch of licorice. The iodine is subtle. With water amplifies the sweetness and minimizes the smoke
Finish: salty up front progressive to long finish with vanilla, peat, oak, hint of malt. The subtle iodine sticks around very late along with the peaty smoke.
