Nose:
Heather, honey, lemon, orange, apple, vanilla, herbal undertones, faint smooth smoke and antiseptic.
Palate:
Light but well rounded and pleasant mouthfeel, refined sea salt, more intense spice, burnt orange, floral notes.
Finish:
Medium length grassy freshness, herbs, long lasting vanilla.
In summary, an easy going malt but one with wonderful delicate attributes that make it an enjoyable experience. Not as satisfying as some in the depths of a cold winter, but apt for an Autumn or Spring warmer.
