The Busker Triple Cask Triple Smooth
Blended — Ireland

I was excited to try this, but it's typical of a cheaper Irish whiskey. Body is light, mouthfeel is unremarkable. Nose is on the weaker side but decent hints of malt. Palate is slightly astringent and it's as if you have to really search for a consistency in the taste. Not a fan of the finish as it leaves a mild bitterness on the tongue. I can see using this more in cocktails that might call for an Irish whiskey but not a valiant sipper at all.

I get that bitter coating from several Irish. Some it's mild enough to overlook, but for some (like Sexton Single Malt) it ruins the entire experience.
