Not much aroma, just grainy and boozy. But the taste reminds me of vanilla, butterscotch, maple, then oak-y with some mild bitterness, pleasant spice like cinnamon, allspice, ginger. This is my first taste of a Jim Beam product, and I like it a lot so far.
