Initial nose is that of a young whiskey, but after a lingering moment vanilla wafts up. First sip is mild, almost neutral in flavor. Eventually the finish has notes of vanilla and a sweetener or spice I cannot quite name - maybe molasses? There's a small lingering burn that's borderline appealing.
