First off, the 15 is everything I love about Whistlepig and probably a lot of what the haters hate ($$$). But I will say that I think the 15 is a great value when compared to the 18. The 15 has so much intensity, complexity and a killer finish. Perhaps 12 is the best overall value. But the 15 is the 12 on flavor steroids in all the best ways. If you like Whistlepig and want to splurge, my recommendation is to get two 15s over the one 18 and tell yourself you got the second one free. Looking forward to my next dram.
