My first Macallan based on a store rec. Definitely wasn't disappointed. The essence from the Sherry was nicely represented. Dried fruits, particularly raisin came to me with the aroma alongside the wood. Taste was fruity sweet with undertones of said wood. Noticeable citrus notes also emerged the more I sipped. Great first testing of the scotch whiskey waters so to speak. I'm intrigued and will look into others in the future.

@Ctrexman Thank you! When I saw the price it sounded reasonable. I had no idea the price on this was getting gouged. Figured it was easy to get cause they had so many bottles on the shelf. Then again it all depends on location right?
Nice review. I really enjoy Mac12 but it is terribly overpriced now making it a hard sell. Your price of 60 is still decent but most markets have eclipsed that
