Nose: dense malt, bit of wood polish. ginger bread. dark deep molasses. white chocolate. dill and rye bread. vanilla with light caramel.
Taste: dill goes into gingerbread spice with some medium wood notes. finishes with the intense malt / rye bread notes with almost a nutty chocolate finish.
Adding water really intensifies the oak and spice / gingerbread notes.
Sampled this at a tasting event like a year or two ago and enjoyed it. Finally managed to pickup a full bottle online. TBH other people didn't seem to like it very much. I can see why people complain about the "craft green pine sap" note because this kind of presents itself here as well in a way. I liked it well enough so I guess I either don't get it or actually like the flavor.
