Wowzer! Lofty nose, palette, and finish. 100 proof brings heat, but it’s not a high rye burn like you might notice in Bulleit or 1792. There’s a lot going on here, especially for a bargain bourbon. Favor isn’t as rich and full, seems too tart. But, the lower price point and higher level of complexity might make this a good option for mixing cocktails without citrus.
