Neat, older NOM 1143/'swoosh' bottle. Nose is agave, earth/minerals, citrus, vegetal, black pepper. Taste is sweet and pleasant with agave, green herbs (including a hint mint), minerals, black pepper, orange peel, sucralose. Mouthfeel is moderate. Pretty smooth even for a freshly opened bottle Finish is sucralose, brine, pepper.
I wouldn't call this a connoisseur's tequila, but it is very drinkable and a step above many sub $20 tequilas.
I would be interested in tasting the new blanco from a different contract distillery as I did like the anejo from NOM 1603
