This whisky appealed to me ever since I first heard of it. It has a beautiful unique and recognizable label design (old label design) and it sounds good on paper. Everything I like and with a good story behind it.
They told me to never buy whisky with your eyes but I couldn't resist when I could get a bottle for a good price.
Luckily I wasn't disappointed.
Sweet vanilla peat smoke with dried fruit and nuts.
It reminds me of roasting chestnuts over an open fire in the forest. I've never been a boyscout but I imagine it smelling and tasting like this.
