Nose: sweet fruit. vanilla. oak. sweet confectioners sugar. light floral violets. plums, apricots, lime zest.
Palette: light going in but then explodes in intense fruit and malt. christmas fruit cake. light caramel almost condensed milk / dulce de leche. vanilla sings through the mid palette and ends in a slight minty finish. maybe some slight chocolate as well with a hint of hazelnuts. very very light trace of citrus as well. Finish also evolves into a grassy earthiness as well.
Maybe not as complex as some enthusiasts want but as a nice daily drinker this is way up there. One of the few times I tried a sample bottle of something and thought "I need a full bottle ASAP." Wonderful
