Benromach Sassicaia 2012-2020
Single Malt — Speyside , Scotland

Peat, red wine and milk chocolate play nice on the nose.
Sweet red wine entry on the creamy palate which turns spicy as it’s held. There’s some peat, caramel and milk chocolate notes too.
Finish is short and sweet.

@ctbeck11 this is my first Benromach and it left me with a good impression. It’s only 7 years old, I can imagine they are even better with age.
I’ve read really good things about Benromach, but have never tried one of their offerings. I recently saw a 15 year and a cask strength for decent prices, but decided not to pull the trigger at the time.
