Smooth and tasty. I typically don’t love rye but this is up there with the best bourbons. The nose is minty and sweet. Taste is thick and comes with more mint. The proof isn’t overpowering but you can tell it’s there, numbing the roof of your mouth after a few sips. Finishes down with a classic “Kentucky hug”
