Nose: Brown Sugar, leather, and oak for me. When I look for a fruit I think I pick up on candied cherries.
Palate: More dry than the nose indicates. Dry leather, brown sugar, and touch of cinnamon.
Finish: Cinnamon, brown sugar, and oak kind of go back in forth, but I pick up on the candied cherries here for sure. A good warming that settles in your chest and slowly builds but is never overpowering.
It doesn’t punch you in the mouth, it’s more on the subtle side. I think the finish is actually the best feature of this, which is a bit of a rarity for me.
