Reviewed January 10, 2026 (edited January 15, 2026)Nose: Super saturated caramel, oak spice, vanilla, cinnamon, peach cobbler, amazing oak. Palate: wintergreen, sassafras, sweet oak, peach and cherry, long chewy caramel. Finish: dark, tea, smoky, Oak-y has a suoer intense long kentucky hug. Changes quite a bit depending on where it hits your tongue. This is a special pour. Drank this with HH18 (2024) and C923 WilliamHH wins in a landslide (97) C923 - 90 HH18 - 89 -
Nose: Baked apples, cherry and a touch of grape. Fantastic oak and oak spice. Creamy vanilla. Warm toasty. Palate: More spicy than the fruity nose would lead you to believe. But the apples are there too. Finish: Spice and fruit forward that comes back vanilla. A touch dry but lingering. I really love this finish. Packs a ton of flavor for the proof. 93/100

Reviewed February 8, 2024 (edited January 1, 2026)Nose: Smoky vanilla, lots of oak and oak spice, apple and pear. Orange peel Palate: really coats your mouth. Apple and cherry, spice, ton of complex oak Finish: Vanilla, mint, oak. Long finish that has a plesant burn. Fantastic pour: 90/100 -

Palate: chocolate cake, cherries, mint and a tannic oak thats pleasant. I get a touch of something “earthy” with the barrel. Finish: Long cherries, spice and oak. Raspberry. Mouthcoating for sure. Finish: long strong finish with a spice tingle, oak, and a touch of grape. This is fantastic. 95/100 -

Reviewed December 11, 2023Nose: caramel and marshmallow, some red fruit, and something herbal. Get a decent mount of spice too. Flavor: red fruit, ton of spice, smoky char, Finish: creamy cinnamon, oak Nose is sweet and bourbon-y then the rye takes over on the palate and finish. 88/100 -

Reviewed December 5, 2023 (edited August 22, 2024)Nose: spiced tea with an orange in it. Peach rings, good oak, maybe a touch floral, and some subtle rich vanilla. Palate: Citrus into spicy cinnamon, red fruit, cinnamon sugar, notable oak, a earthy turkey note. Finish: Long for the proof. Spice, Earthy citrus tea note, and vanilla. This is fantastic. Super complex and just coats the mouth. The finish last for days.
