Nose: soft and sweet with just a hint of oak
Pallet: smooth on the front with a little pepper spice and a hint of vanilla.
Finish: This where the 10 year old flavor comes through with complexity and a hint of pepto bismol mint.
Not comparing this to Blantons but it like it, it’s a straight forward bourbon best enjoyed neat.
This is a Kroger Single Barrel select bottle. Store picks vary but I find my local Kroger picks are flavored for the masses and have been rather enjoyable.
