This one definitely has a lot of character. There is a weird almost unpleasant aspect to it, like rotten banana, that cost it some points. That being said it is very unique, very dark with a maritime influence. Dark malt, chocolate and brine. Fruits are there, plum and a hint of overripe banana, but it is in the background. The 15y is definitely a huge upgrade, but this is a great introduction to the Distillery.
