New Spirit Releases - May 17, 2024 - Wild Turkey Master's Keep Triumph, Little Book Chapter 8, Hennessy Master Blender's Selection No. 5 and More!

The Master's Keep limited edition series first started in 2015 and it allows Wild Turkey Master Distiller Eddie Russell to showcase his approach to whiskey making. Named Triumph, this bottling is the oldest age-stated rye whiskey ever released by Wild Turkey and just the second rye whiskey in the series. Aged for 10 years in char #4 new American oak barrels, this is bottled without chill-filtration at 104 proof. Available in limited quantities for on-line pre-sale purchases in early June 2024 and in-store at select retailers ahead of Father's Day 2024. (SRP $275)

This bottling is the first of three expressions in the brand's Collaborative Series for 2024. Here, BBCo. partnered with Amrut Distillers, makers of Indian single malt based in Bengaluru, India. Two long-aged (8 & 9 year-old) Indiana straight rye whiskeys were aged in Amrut Indian Single Malt Whisky barrels for 18 months. Then that whiskey was blended with long-aged (10, 11, & 14 year-old) Kentucky straight bourbon. Bottled at 110 proof, this is available in limited quantities beginning May 2024. (SRP $159.99)

Path Not Taken marks the eighth release in the Little Book Whiskey series, created by Eighth Generation Master Distiller Freddie Noe. Here, Freddie features a blend of six straight rye whiskeys with different ages (4-11 years-old), char levels, and mash bills. Also included in the blend is an 18 year-old Kentucky straight bourbon with a high-rye mash bill. Bottled at 59.1% ABV, it's available for a limited time beginning May 2024. (SRP $149.99)

Old Fitzgerald Bottled in Bond 10 Year is the thirteenth nationwide release in the bottled in bond decanter series. Produced by Heaven Hill, Old Fitzgerald is a wheated bourbon brand. This bottled in bond version was distilled in one distillation season (spring 2014). Aged for 10 years before bottling in spring 2024, this release bears a green label as other spring releases have done. As required, it is bottled at 100 proof. Available on an allocated basis nationwide as of May 2024. (SRP $139.99)

This Small Batch Rye expression from Sagamore Spirit is the first 100% Maryland-distilled rye whiskey from the brand. Using non-GMO grains sourced from their Farm-to-Table process, this whiskey used a blend of triple-distilled high and low rye mash bills. It was matured for 4-6 years and was blended in small batches of 20 barrels. Bottled at 93 proof, it's available globally beginning May 2024. (SRP $39.99)

Oak & Eden is a whiskey brand based in Texas which specializes in "in-bottle finishing" — a method of finishing a whiskey by inserting a spire, a 5-inch spiral-cut piece of wood, into a fully-matured bottle of whiskey. Bourbon & Amburana is part of the brand's new Reserve Series which marries the brand's spirits with distinctive woods from around the world. Here, the brand uses a high-rye bourbon distilled in Indiana with a South American Amburana wood spire with a medium toast. Available beginning May 2024. (SRP $59.99)
