RyeUnlike bourbon, rye whiskey can be made anywhere in the world. But if made in the US, the mash bill recipe must be at least 51% rye and it must be aged in new, charred oak barrels with no age requirement. Elsewhere, the rye whiskey will be made keeping the country of origin's rules regarding the recipe and minimum aging.

Tasting Notes
"Allow the whiskey to breathe a bit as it isn't super expressive at first pour. The oak aromas are the strongest with a light leather and caramel and vanilla note around the edges. There's a mild sweetness surrounding the spicy rye and some dried fruits show up on the mid palate. The finish is dry and of moderate length, but it isn't too chewy. Moderate rye spice lingers on the tongue. An enjoyable dram, especially for those who prefer a light sweetness with their rye whiskeys. "
