New Spirit Releases - November 1, 2024 - Angel's Envy, Glenmorangie, and More!

With the 13th annual Cask Strength Bourbon — and just the second for Master Distiller Owen Martin — Angel's Envy has incorporated Tawny Port finished bourbon with the traditional Ruby Port finished bourbon. This marks the first time the brand has used a Solera Method by creating a continuous aging process. Bottled at a cask strength of 118.8-proof (59.4% ABV), just 23,196 bottles will be available nationwide beginning December 2024. (SRP $229.99)

Launched in fall 2024, this Crown Royal Reserve features an age statement of 12 years and an enhanced flavor profile than the original Reserve offering. Featuring barrels hand-selected by the master blenders, the blended Canadian whisky is available beginning October 2024. (SRP $49.99)

This limited edition expression begins with a straight bourbon (70% corn, 21% rye, 9% malted barley) aged three years minimum which was distilled in partnership with Bardstown Bourbon Co. in Kentucky and aged in Tennessee. It's finished in used whiskey barrels which were used to barrel-age honey. Bottled unfiltered at cask strength of 115.7 proof, just 1,800 bottles are available online and in select US markets beginning November 2024. (SRP $64.99)

This expression is part of the brand's fourth annual limited Select Edition collection. Distilled in 2006, the single malt was matured in American oak ex-bourbon barrels and enhanced by rare Matusalem & Amoroso sherry finishing casks. Aged 18 years, it's bottled at 47.2% ABV with natural color and no chill-filtration. Available November 2024. (SRP $499.99)

This expression is part of the brand's fourth annual limited Select Edition collection. Distilled in 2009, the single malt was matured in American oak ex-bourbon barrels and enhanced by rare Matusalem sherry and Graham's Tawny Port finishing casks. Aged 15 years, it's bottled at 48.9% ABV with natural color and no chill-filtration. Available November 2024. (SRP $224.99)

Glenmorangie’s Director of Whisky Creation Dr. Bill Lumsden and Master Blender Gillian MacDonald were inspired by the flavors of an ice cream parlour for this limited edition release. High-vanillin (toasted, new oak casks) and bourbon casks were used for maturation of this no-age statement release. Available beginning fall 2024. (SRP $99.99)

Glenmorangie has updated its core 18 year-old expression with an updated name and label, but the single malt retains its classic make-up. After 15 years of maturation in American oak ex-bourbon barrels a portion is then placed into oloroso sherry casks for finishing. The Infinita 18 Year is available beginning fall 2024. (SRP $164.99)

The Original — the flagship single malt for Glenmorangie — has been updated from a 10 year-old expression to a 12 year-old. Aged a minimum of 12 years in ex-bourbon barrels, this bottling will launch globally in 2024 with the US getting its allotment in fall 2024. (SRP $49.99)

This release from Glenmorangie features a single malt which was aged in three types of casks: bourbon, new charred oak, and rye whiskey. The no-age statement release is a new addition to the brand's core portfolio. Available beginning fall 2024. (SRP $32.99)
