    This is the second batch of Blue Run Kentucky Straight Golden Rye Whiskey, the name of which refers to the color of the grains used to make it. This is a limited small-batch rye whiskey of just 102 select barrels, and bottled at 95 proof. It is available as of July 20, 2022 online and at select retailers in the US and Canada.

    This is the first release for Hidden Barn, a brand founded by Master Distiller Royce Neeley, Master Blender Jackie Zykan, and their other partners Nate Winegar & Matt Danker of Colorado's 5280 Whiskey Society. The bourbon was distilled at Neeley Family Distillery using a mash bill of 70% corn, 20% rye 10% malted barley and a wild Kentucky yeast. It was double pot-distilled and aged 4-5 years. Zykan blended the seven barrels used in this batch which is bottled at barrel proof of 53% ABV. Series One, Batch #1 is available as of July 18, 2022 in KY, CO, FL, and CA with other markets to follow by the end of 2022.

    The 2022 Yellowstone Limited Edition Bourbon bottling features 7, 15, and 16 year-old bourbons selected by Limestone Branch Master Distiller Stephen Beam. He chose Marsala Superiore (Italian fortified wine) casks to finish the 7 year-old bourbon before blending with the extra-old bourbons. Just 10,000 cases (3-pack) will be available for purchase beginning September 2022. (SRP $99.99)

    This release from Cooper Spirits Co. is the oldest release to date at 21 years. It was distilled and barreled in May 1999 from a mash bill of 100% rye. After 21 years in new, charred American oak barrels, it was bottled at 111 proof. Released July 2022, only 1200 cases were produced.

    The third annual Distillery Edition from Milam & Greene in Blanco, TX is made from a mash bill of 70% Texas-grown corn, 22% malted rye, and 8% malted barley and activated with a proprietary yeast. It is pot-distilled by Master Distiller Marlene Holmes in a 300-gallon copper still and barrel aged. It is non-chill filtered and bottled at barrel proof 56.94%ABV (113.88 proof). Only four barrels were used in the blend. Very limited quantities available at the distillery and at select retailers in Texas as of July 20, 2022.

    Contraluz Cristalino Mezcal is a brand under the umbrella of global spirits company Casa Lumbre, known for other spirits such as Montelobos Mezcal, Abosolo Corn Whisky and Ancho Reyes Chili Liqueurs. Made from 100% cultivated espadin agave, this mezcal is aged in select US whiskey barrels for around six months. Then it undergoes a small batch filtration process to remove its color. While there have been several Cristalino Tequilas released in recent years, Casa Lumbre was the first to produce a Cristalino Mezcal and with this July 2022 release, it's the first one in the US. Other global markets are expected to follow in 2023. (SRP $59.99)
