    This single malt from Waterford was crafted with both Irish-grown barley and Irish-harvested peat. It is one of two releases for 2022 in Waterford's Arcadian Farm Origins Series. Each of the two single malts used barley grown in Co. Carlow from a single farm, in this case from Ballybanon, while the peat was harvested from Co. Kildare. For this release, the barley was peated to 47ppm. It was distilled in 2019 and matured in a variety of casks as follows: 39% first-fill US oak, 21% virgin US oak, 21% French oak and 19% Vin Doux Naturel casks. This bottling has a global availability of 11,500 bottles with the US getting its allocation in October 2022. (SRP $99.99)

    This is the 2022 edition of a 22 year old bourbon expression, released to celebrate National Bourbon Heritage Month. It was aged and bottled at the Stitzel-Weller Distillery in Kentucky. It is available as of September 2022 in the following markets: California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, New Jersey, North Carolina, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and at the Stitzel-Weller Distillery.

    Unabridged Volume 1 is a limited edition blend of straight bourbon whiskeys. To create the blend, Milam & Greene CEO Heather Greene collaborated with authors and Flaviar.com's resident liquor experts Noah Rothbaum & David Wondrich. Together they decided on a blend which features straight bourbons from 38 barrels from 3 different states (Kentucky, Tennessee and Texas) ranging in age from 2.75 to 14 years. The heart of the bottling was distilled by Milam & Greene Master Distiller Marlene Holmes using the same mash bill recipe both in Texas and at Kentucky's Bardstown Bourbon Co. It's bottled at cask strength without chill-filtration at 118 proof. Available in the US, Alberta, Canada and online at Flaviar.com. beginning September 2022.

    Kings County Blended Bourbon is comprised from a blend of straight whiskeys from the Brooklyn-based distillery. By definition, the blended bourbon category only requires 51% straight bourbon to be used with the rest of the components can be any whisky and/or neutral spirits. Here KCD uses their own straight bourbon, straight corn, straight rye, and straight malt whiskeys in the blended bourbon. Available in New York State as of September 14, 2022 with a national roll out to follow. (SRP $54.99)

    This is the second batch for Redwood Empire's Grizzly Beast Bottled in Bond Bourbon. Like the previous edition, this is a grain-to-glass offering from the California distillery which is blended from bourbon distilled in spring 2017 using different mash bills. Ultimately, the final blend works out to a mash bill of 66% corn, 23% rye, 7% wheat, and 4% malted barley which differs from the previous release. It was aged for 5 years in 53-gallon American oak, primarily toasted and charred to level 3. Released September 2022. (SRP $89.99)

    This is the second batch for Redwood Empire's Rocket Top Bottled in Bond Rye. Like the previous edition, this is a grain-to-glass offering from the California distillery which is blended from rye distilled in spring 2017 using different mash bills. Ultimately, the final blend works out to a mash bill of 87% rye, 5% wheat, 5% malted barley, and 3% corn which differs from the previous release. It was aged for 5 years in 53-gallon American oak, primarily toasted and charred to level 3. Released September 2022. (SRP $89.99)

    This Private Cask bottling from Chicken Cock is part of a 15 barrel selection of Kentucky straight bourbons which were handpicked by Master Distiller Gregg Snyder. Each barrel has been aged for 7 years and will vary in proof and flavor as is the nature of such releases. In addition to being released in September 2022 to select retailers in 8 states (CT, GA IL, IN, KY, MI, SC, and WI), attendees of the Kentucky Bourbon Festival in Bardstown (Sept 16-18, 2022) will be able to purchase a bottle from the first barrel.

    Woodford Reserve Honey Barrel Finish is a limited edition release in the brand's Distillery Series. Woodford Reserve sent some freshly-dumped bourbon barrels to a local bee farmer in Woodford County, Kentucky. The farmer then aged his honey in the barrels and then they were returned to the distillery where they were used to finish fully-matured Woodford Reserve Bourbon. Bottled at the brand's standard 90.4 proof, this is sold in 375ml sized bottles at the Woodford Reserve Distillery gift shop in Versailles, Kentucky and select Kentucky retailers for a limited time beginning September 2022.

    This is the fifth release in the brand's Cask Series which features 8 year-old blended Scotch whisky finished in a specific type of cask. In this case, the whisky was in French oak apple brandy Calvados casks from Normandy. Bottled at 80 proof, Dewar's French Cask Smooth is available globally with a US release in September 2022. (SRP $24.99)

    Ultramarine is the first release in the brand's Extinct Blends Quartet, a series which pays homage to Scotch whisky from the past. For this release, Lead Whiskymaker James Saxon was inspired from blended Scotch whisky from the late 1980s. The featured whiskies in this blend include single malts from Glendullan (1st fill sherry-seasoned butt) and Caol Ila (refill bourbon barrels) as well as grain whiskies from Cameronbridge (recharred hogshead) and Girvan (1st fill bourbon barrel) in addition to other pre-blended stocks and other Scotch whiskies. Available globally, there were 5,430 bottles produced. The US will get its allocation in October 2022. (SRP $375)

    This bottling marks the seventh release of Flaming Heart for Compass Box with each edition featuring a unique recipe. This is a peated blended malt featuring single malts from Laphroaig (recharred hogsheads), Talisker (recharred hogsheads), and Caol Ila (refill bourbon barrels) as well as other single malt and blended malt whiskies. Additionally, there are parcels of past limited edition Compass Box bottlings including Peat Monster Arcana, Myths & Legends, and 2018 Flaming Heart. There are 9,606 bottles available globally with the US getting its allocation in November 2022. (SRP $155)

    Cincoro Gold is the fifth expression for the brand owned by five NBA team owners including NBA legend Michael Jordan. Unusually, the tequila is made from a blend of the brand's blanco, reposado, añejo and extra añejo tequilas which were all made with 100% blue Weber agave from Jalisco. With the exception of the blanco which is unaged, these tequilas all were aged in ex-American whiskey barrels with the extra añejo maturing in these casks for at least 40 months. Cincoro Gold will be available as of October 2022 with 4,000 cases available on its initial release. (SRP $349.99)

    Espolòn Cristalino begins with a blend the brand's añejo and extra añejo tequilas which were made with 100% blue Weber agave from Los Altos of Jalisco. Then the tequila is minimally-filtered through charcoal to remove its color. Espolòn Cristalino was formulated by the brand's late Maestro Tequilero Cirilo Oropeza who passed away in 2020. It launched in the US in September 2022 following its introduction in Mexico. (SRP $59.99)
