10New Orleans rum producer Roulaison Distilling launched at the end of 2016—Roulaison is the French-Creole term used for the sugarcane harvest. The distillery focuses on a pre-industrial style of rum, with small batch alembic pot still distillation. They also use 100% Louisiana molasses. The flagship white rum is bottled at 44% ABV.

9The first-ever white rum from Plantation is named for three rum-producing “stars” of the Caribbean: Barbados, Jamaica and Trinidad. The blend features unaged rums from Barbados and Jamaica, a 3-year-old rum from Trinidad and a 12-year Jamaican rum. Each rum brings their respective island’s distinctive flavors and characteristics to the blend, from the lighter, refined Trinidadian rum to the funkier, full-bodied Jamaican rums. Any color from the aging process has been removed via carbon filtration before bottling.

8SelvaRey was founded by brothers Seth Gold, Marc Gold, Rob Herzig and pop star Bruno Mars, who enlisted former Havana Club master distiller Francisco “Don Pancho” Fernandez to create the product. It is a blend of 3 and 5 year old rums that are aged in ex-bourbon casks, carbon filtered to remove the color.

7This Pennsylvania distillery double-distills their unaged rum from 100% raw sugar. It is named for local Ironmaster Thomas Rutter who practiced his trade nearby Manatawny. Each bottle is hand numbered.

6Banks Rum is named for the botanist Sir Joseph Banks, an adventurer who sailed with Captain Cook in the mid 18th century. The 5 Island blend is composed of 21 rums from 5 different islands - Trinidad, Jamaica, Guyana, Barbados, and Java, each lending their own unique style, flavors and character. The final formula was created by Master Blender Arnaud de Trabuc, who uses a combination of pot-stilled and column-stilled rums, charcoal filtered for clarity.

5Copalli Rum was launched in 2019 by marine conservationist Todd Robinson and Anya Fernald, CEO of restaurant and butcher shop chain Belcampo. An organic rum, it’s made on the grounds of the duo’s Copal Tree Lodge in Belize. The sugarcane used to make the rum is sourced from the surrounding rainforest. Copalli White Rum is a blend of pot and column distilled sugarcane juice. After distillation, it’s rested on stainless steel for a period of time before being bottled at 42% ABV.

4Introduced to the market in 2011, this rum was created by the team behind The Bitter Truth bitters and liqueurs. It's a blend of unaged pot still rums from Monymusk and Worthy Park distilleries in Jamaica. Also included is aged pot still rum from Trinidad, aged up to 5 years in bourbon barrels that's been charcoal filtered to remove the color. Lastly, unaged column still rum from Trinidad is added to the blend which is bottled at 100 proof.

3This rum is a unique blend of pot still, column, and batch kettle made rums. Then it is aged for up to 6 years and charcoal filtered for clarity. This is intended to replace the Diplomático Blanco. Bottled at 46% ABV.

1Probitas White Blended Rum is blended from three rums distilled in pot or Coffey stills and aged in the Caribbean. Those include unaged pot still rum from Hampden Estate (selected by Hampden master distiller Vivian Wisdom) and unaged Coffey still rum and 2 Year aged pot still rum both from Foursquare (selected by Richard Seale). The blended rum is bottled at 47% ABV, a higher proof that its makers say work well in cocktails. It contains no added sugar, flavoring or coloring.
