    Named in honor of the master tequila harvesters, the Jimadores, who cut each agave heart (the piña) by hand with a razor sharp coa, El Jimador Reposado is a value brand from Casa Herradura. The tequila starts by roasting the piñas in a clay oven, double-distilling the spirit and then placing the new-make spirit in American oak bourbon barrels for two months to rest.

    1 2 3 or as it is meant to be pronounced “Uno, Dos, Tres” is a certified organic tequila brand. The agaves used were sourced from the Tequila Valley and the piñas were cooked for close to two days in stone ovens. The reposado, or “Dos” is aged in white oak for 6 months.

    Tequila Ocho is the first brand to follow a technique reserved until recently the wine business. Ocho is the only single-estate vintage tequila on the market. Since all agave is harvested from individual family farms, each is allowed to showcase nuances found only at those estates. El Refugio is located at 2055m above sea level and has soils rich in red iron oxide. Agave from this area and climate have a very high sugar content.

    From the brainchild of Tomas Estes and Carlos Camareña, Tequila Ocho is the first and only single-estate vintage tequila on the market. Sourcing agave from individual ranches and then using only that distillate allows Ocho to represent true terrior and seasonality with each expression. The estate of Los Fresno’s undulates between 2068m and 2078m and at the time of harvest (late April 2013) each agave was on average 7 years of age and had a sugar concentration of about 27.6% due to the lack of rain.

    Tequila Lobos 1707 is an independent spirits brand which is backed by basketball legend LeBron James. The tequila is distilled in Los Altos, Jalisco from 100% blue weber agave. For the Reposado tequila, it is aged in American white oak for 6 months. Then a portion of the brand's Extra Añejo tequila is added. This is followed by a finishing in Pedro Ximénez barrels. The tequila is available as of November 2020 in New York City, California and Florida with an expected nationwide launch in early 2021.

It was created by Graciela González, fourth generation distiller and daughter of master distiller for El Mayor Tequila, Rodolfo González. Produced using estate-grown agave, this reposado tequila aged for nine months in French oak ex-chardonnay barrels. Announced August 2018, there are fewer than 5000 bottles available.
