This is good, but there are better under the $40.00 ish PA price tag. It has all the things sweet bourbon lover likes in their glass, so that is satisfying. I prefer the Michter’s Unblended Whiskey over this though. Not disappointed in any way, just not thrilled about the 40 beans for a run of the mill juice. 3.3/5

Decent, the price is indicative of the taste. Not the best, but not horrible. Not sure how this rates higher than Knob Creek and Woodford in this app. The finish was a tad more harsh than the OF 1870. This is your average value bourbon. I would buy EW black label for the 6 or 7 dollar savings though. 2.7/5

Henry McKenna 10 Year Bottled in Bond Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed May 30, 2018 (edited October 2, 2019)I finally opened my “stash” after buying a 2nd bottle. I liked it and will certainly be looking out for every release. It is not my favorite, but it is very tasty and I believe everyone would enjoy this BiB as the 100 proof doesn’t overpower any of the gentle flavors that bourbon fans enjoy. The awards are well deserved. 3.9/5 -
This is my favorite bourbon by a long shot. It is delicious in every way. Well done Buffalo Trace, well done. 4.6/5 Fast forward 3 years...... still good, but not my favorite. Partially because it’s a rare offering here in PRoP, People’s Republic of Pennsylvania, and partially because there are some better drinks out there for sure. I was so stupid 3 years ago. Now I am so much smarter and wiser and I find this good, but just good. It is still a bargain and everyone should have this, maybe with the new Dem’s in office every American will get a phone, free kollege, and bourbon. Dropping the score to a solid 4/5.

Well, I am glad I bought the small bottle vs the big one. Not that the cost is a life changer, but I don’t want to have to muscle down a drink I don’t enjoy. This is not nearly as good as the EW bib for only 2 or 3 doll hairs more. This is bottom shelf and tastes it. I assume this would be a decent mixer, but who does that right... I will stick to the Evan Williams BiB as my go to. 2.8/5

Four Roses Single Barrel Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed May 13, 2018 (edited September 28, 2018)Very easy drink. Pleasant taste that should be enjoyable for just about all bourbon drinkers. Sweet and light, not harsh at all. Will buy again for sure. May be a good special occasion buy. 3.7/5 Fast forward 5 months and a new bottle. An easy drinker that I still enjoy. I have since tried the small batch and I feel that is a better value overall. This is good, but I highly recommend the small batch over this. Cheers!41.0 USD per Bottle -
Evan Williams White Label Bottled in Bond Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed May 6, 2018 (edited June 23, 2018)This is a delicious treat. It may be bottom shelf, but only in price, the taste is as good as any much higher priced bourbon. The 1-Hundo proof is an added bonus too. It is a must try for anyone. To me, it is similar to Jim Beam white because of heavy corn, but this is considerably better. 3.8/5 -
Well well well, the elusive Weller SR made an appearance in my PA store.... finally. And it did not disappoint in any way. It is a smooth, sweet, and tasty pour. I believe it blows away many higher priced bottles. I will head back and buy a few more bottles, $19.99 is a small price to pay for such a delicious treat.4/5 I had this a few more times and each time I am as pleased as the first.
