Tastes

It tastes like liquid dissappointment. It is young, and that always tastes like a freshly mowed field. The toast helps mask that flavor, but not good enough. Wish I tried it before I bought it, would have saved 62 beans. For anyone on the fence, skip it.

It OK. Just OK. Not crazy diff from black label. The green label still best value. I will give it time to breathe and come back.

Opened a long time ago, and it was not good. Came back to it a few months later and it was good. Nice vanilla and slight oak. Decent pour.

Well well welll... the bottle I Identify with in name only, but add “of lard” to it. Hahahhaha. Anyway, this is JB white with a kick. Not bad at all. Well worth the 18 dollar price in PA. Not the best juice, but worth a try indeed.

It’s better than the Rye I wasted $100+ beans on, but it is just average juice at best. The only thing I can say is that it is as if it has its own flavor profile, which is nice. Meaning it doesn’t remind me of any other bourbons. Another thing, is that dill I am picking up on the back end??? Does anyone else pick that up or am I way off base. It’s probably just me. Either way, I will keep the bottle as a trophy in the garage and not spend another $65 on the liquid in it in the future.

Best JB for the price. $16.99 in PA is a steal.

Good but Old Scout is better.

It’s ok, pretty sweet. It’s a tad pricey for the taste. I prefer the Balcones over this in the 100% corny drinks.
