Even though it’s a blend of bourbon and rye, the rye comes through. There’s a lot of baking spice on the palate that morphs into the red fruit flavors from the wine casks. The finish isnt as long as I’d like, but it’s pretty much a pleasant fruitiness.

his has some peppermint on the front that kind of blends into a syrupy sweetness on the finish. It lasts a long time. There are also some of the usual bourbon flavors like caramel and vanilla and oak, but those are more muted. It's finished in port casks which I think explains the rich full sweetness.

A nice long finish. This definitely screams rye, but doesn’t drink too hot for 124.9%. I definitely get a lot of the baking rye spice on the palate, but I wouldn’t say this is too herbally. It’s definitely a cool bottle and glad I got to try it but probably won’t blow anyone’s socks off.

You can smell the high proof. Theres cinnamon for sure on the nose. Barrel char is seen on both the palate and the finish. The burn is real on the first sip. The finish is a bit sweeter with maybe some maple syrup peaking through? It lasts a longggg time. It’s very tasty though and worth a pour if you can find it.

Leather on the nose after an initial bite ofcaramel. The finish is long and very heavy.
