I was disappointed with this one until I thought to add a little water. Water really made it open up and taste like a great classic bourbon with those great fruit notes added by the port.

This is a strange one. Smoke and sherry notes are definitely there, but the bottle I'm tasting has a definite lager note on the nose and pallet.. It makes me think of Michelob. It's not just me. The other people I'm drinking this with taste it too. Strange but true.

I'd been looking forward to trying this one, but can't say that I care much for the flavor profile, nor is it especially smooth. Tried sipping it neat, with ice, etc. I wouldn't normally use such an expensive spirit for a cocktail but it actually makes a very good hot toddy.

Excellent. One of the few scotches I prefer on the rocks due to the high ABV. But pricey to mix, but it makes amazing cocktails too.
